'Till the Cows Come Home: a shipping container restaurant in Berlin
Set in a 40-foot-long cargo container, Till the Cows Come Home is a Berlin-based slow food kitchen that serves haute vegetarian cuisine. Designed by Natalie Viaux, the shipping container has been revamped with an interior of Norwegian birch wood and copper accents, while the outside has been painted a vibrant pearl green. Its five-meter-long window provides a view of the expansive outdoor terrace, which features a mural of cows grazing serenely in alpine pastures. It was this mural that inspired the restaurant’s name, and its menu is packed with healthy, delicious foods, juices, smoothies, and “free-radical shots”.
